"Oui," Wee Suri

Suri and her mother were seen shopping in Paris yesterday, and lil' Suri showed more emotion than her mother has since she got married. The Paris shopping spree seemed painful for the precious Scientolotot!

While on the town, photogs spotted Suri, 1, crying when mom took a pen away from her ... but as soon as the waterworks were turned on, mom caved and gave it back! No emotion, ever!!

The brown-bobbed duo is in gay ol' Paree while daddy is in Germany making that Hitler movie.

16. Its so easy to judge other parents but if we were all honest with ourselves, we would admit that we all have done something like this before. Especially if your time is limited and you have to hurry up with the shopping. I'd rather indulge the child at that moment for some peace. Give me a break.

17. You don't hand a baby ANY kind of a pen for ANY reason, and it is stupid to make excuses for Katie's poor judgement that could have been harmful to her child. What's wrong with actually HOLDING the child and COMFORTING the child, or would that be too much trouble when there is SO much shopping to do. Katie is such a waste, all she does is shop and follow Tom arounf like a Stepford wife. I have no respect for her or Tom and Scientology is a cult that Katie just handed her child over to in exchange for enough money to shop forever. And all the Tom and Katie PR people here don't fool anyone, Tom and Katie pay an agency to stay glued to the blogs and write the same old things about them day after day after day. SO lame, anyone with a job like that must be so totally lame!

18. So Katie has "polished" her appearance. Would you rather she pull a Brit or a Paris or a Nicole, wear ripped pants, a bad weave, a frown, flipping off paps left and right in front of her child (and mine!) and relying on Tom to protect her pantiless crotch? She knows she's got all eyes on her, probably hates it, but at least she has the intelligence to know if she's going to be photographed anyway she would rather be photographed looking put-together than like she just stumbled out of a bar!

19. No car seat? How do you know? Can you see into the car? Do you see the car pulling away after Katie gets in? No. For all you judgemental people out there, it was raining (hence the umbrella), the bodyguard helped them into the car, closed the door, and Katie put Suri into the carseat which was already in the car, before the bodyguard went around to the driver's door, got in and took them back to the hotel. TMZ is great at editing photos and cutting video to maximize your negative celebrity comments.

21. The only thing more lame than watching blogs as your job is to do it for the sheer pleasure of seeing how miserable somebody else's life is, right Boone?

22. I hope little suriologist was put in a car seat in the back of the expensive car. German laws or not. Do we have another Brit-Brit?

23. she is too cute. How she throws her self on the floor face down when they take her pen away. What an actress!

24. Suri is the cutest little girl. She reminds me of my daughter when she was that age.

25. So, Sheri was actually there, LOL. I have never personally given any of my children dangerous objects to shut them up. No, I am not a perfect parent, but I am smart enough to go places PREPARED for such occurrances, and I always bring SAFE toys and soft cookie (prevents the choking that can happen from crackers) in case something like this happens. A pen, sorry, marking or otherwise, that would NOT be something I would ever consider giving a toddler, and only the Tom/Cat camp would be defending such a lack of common sense. By now, Katie should have figured out to leave prepared so she doesn't have to resort to pens to quiet her child.

26. this poor child all she does is get shuttled around town while her mother shops. not exactly a fun life for a toddler. does katie really have to shop EVERY day or rather expose herself and her daughter to a photo op every day? that is all it is....you never see her buy anything....at least you would think she would do her hair........she looks as bad as the gals at the bus stop when we drop our kids off in the morning before whe have had a shower................

27. She didn't take the big fat black marker away from Suri...

Suri put it down when she decided to head butt the floor and Katie handed it back to her when Suri started to cry.

If you watch the video you'll see that Suri had put the marker down and put her head down to the ground.

She even pointed to the ground to show her mommy where she had hit her head...

Its really no biggie my son would get frustrated when he was little and head butt the concrete floor hard enough to leave a dimpled impression in his head and yeah the little bugger would cry after he did it, and sometimes low and behold I would give him my car keys are what ever was handy to direct his attention elsewhere....

Before you post videos maybe you should watch them once first!!!!

28. Do you people not have children. Suri hit her head on the tile when we leaned forward. That is why she points at the floor. Katie was only trying to make sure she was ok.

29. That is one ugly kid!

30. No I was not actually there, Paula the Perfect (LOL!). However, there are more honest sites than TMZ for celebrity news, you know, sites that don't cut the film at the critical moment they are talking about or edit out the sound so they can insert their own dialog, which may or may not be accurate. You're so ready to pounce on this young mother and baby and speculate as to what may have happened on this highly-edited tape, why not speculate in a more postive manner? What do I know? I know that it was raining in Paris (check the weather reports), hence the umbrella. I know the man holding the umbrella is the bodyguard (from previous video and pictures), and I know the man closes the door for Katie and then turns to his left to go around the rear of the car and then get in, an action all moms do dozens of times a week. If I was to speculate negatively, Paula the Perfect, I'd say either you are not a mom or you count how many months you have been a mom without taking off your shoes.

As for how horrible shopping must be for this baby girl and her mom -- yeah, she looks miserable in every picture that is taken of her, as proven by her smiling and laughing.
